Over the Green

TaylorMade Golf just seems to keep producing winner after winner…at least as far as drivers are concerned. The latest, the Tour Burner, has taken the PGA Tour by storm with impressive wins (Sergio Garcia at the Players, Kenny Perry at the Memorial) and several top ten finishes in the two months it has been available.

Compared to the previous iteration the Burner the Tour Burner has a slightly smaller head at 450cc, a shorter shaft by 1/2 inch and a 60-gram versus 50-gram shaft. Either the TP with a 2 degree open face or the regular model with a square face are in golf shops now with street prices of $599 and $399 respectively.
